  • The iShares S&P 500 ETF (IVV) provides exposure to large, established US companies.
  • The strategy is an index based strategy and therefore doesn't attempt to 'beat the market', it provides the portfolio with low cost access to broad based US equities.
  • IVV allows us to vary the exposure of the portfolio to US equities, at the moment the portfolios are underweight US equities relative to the broader MSCI World Index.
  • IVV provides exposure to some well known companies such as Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, Google, Facebook, Johnson & Johnson, JP Morgan, Berkshire Hathaway, Disney, Boeing and General Electric.
